Sample some of L.A.’s finest food trucks at the Gourmet Food Truck Festival at Santa Anita Park on Saturday, January 29th from 11 am to 4:30 pm. The FOOD TRUCK FARE features over 20 gourmet food trucks plus a wine tent and gastropub. Participating food trucks include: The Grilled Cheese Truck, Don Chow Tacos, Border Grill, Canter’s Truck, Baby’s Bad*ss Burgers, South Philly Experience, Dosa, The Sweets Truck, Dante Fried Chicken, Dogtown Dogs, No Reservations, Knockout Tacos, Chef Brian’s Comfort Truck, Ragin’ Cajun, Crepe’n Around, Lobsta Truck, Fresh Fries LA, Lardon Truck, Tapa Boy, and NaanStop. Dine and drink with the most popular food trucks in the county at historic Santa Anita Park with the excitement of Throughbred racing. Enjoy live entertainment by The Spazmatics and a Smile Lounge Photo Booth. The FOOD TRUCK FARE is an all-ages event and offers a full day of family fun with a moon bounce, face painters, pony rides and a playground for the kids!

In addition to the FOOD TRUCK FARE, Santa Anita Park is celebrating its 9th annual Sunshine Millions Day featuring Florida-bred vs. California-bred Thoroughbred action. All fans attending on this day will receive a Sunshine Millions cooler bag FREE with their paid admission. These bags are large enough to accommodate 18 cans of cold beverages and will be available to the first 15,000 attendees. First post time on Sunshine Millions Day is 12 noon. Admission to the Gourmet Food Truck Festival is $12 per person, which includes a racing program and admission to the Festival area, which will be closed to general attendees. Modestly priced fare will be offered by all of the food trucks throughout the 10-race program. Purchase your tickets online ( by noon on January 27th and receive FREE parking. Just show the parking pass included with your printable ticket to the parking staff.

It’s First Fridays and a beautiful day to treat your tastebuds!  Head on over to the SGV Foodtruck Fest tonight and launch into a lobster roll from the Lobsta Truck, grab a heavy metal hamburger from The Great Foodtruck Race winner, Grill ’em All, and of course, toss up a tapsilog at your favorite Filipino breakfast truck!  Plan to stay the whole night because there’s 16 foodtrucks in all!  There are several new trucks making their debut at the SGV Foodtruck Fest so be sure to try them all!
