This Saturday will kick off the 1st annual Truck N’ Toys, toy drive event with recording artist Master P and Cymphonique.  The event is being put on by Vizzi Truck, Lomo Arigato and the Truck Chaser to benefit Urbanborn.org and Boys and Girls Club of San Pedro.  The event will have 19 of the top gourmet food trucks from Los Angeles and Orange County. Free parking and entrance!!

Please bring unwrapped toys to donate to kids less fortunate this holiday season.

2010 Abbot Kinney Festival in Venice, California

Sunday, Sept. 26, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

One of Southern California’s most popular community events—the annual Abbot Kinney Festival now in its 26th year—will be held in Venice on Sunday, Sept. 26, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The free festival, which stretches along the one-mile stretch of Abbot Kinney Blvd. from Venice Blvd. to Main St. in Venice, features local artisans, live music, and family entertainment.

In addition to two new areas, KidsQuad and The Food Rendezvous, this year’s festival includes up to 400 arts & craft exhibitors, three live music stages, Whole Foods Market Green Scene, two bike valet stations, three food courts, and two beer gardens featuring Fat Tire and Hoegaarden. All complement the eclectic mix of over 100 boutiques, coffee houses, restaurants, salons, art galleries, and nightclubs located along the famed Abbot Kinney Boulevard, stretching nearly one mile from Venice Blvd. to Main Street.
